STYLE 1
Mounting with Growth
Expansion Spring
Place screw through mounting hole in tag.
Slip spring over screw with large end of spring toward tree. A small starter
hole may have to be drilled for installation into hard woods. Tighten screw a
minimum of 1/2" into tree. Stainless steel spring will hold tag in place and
compensate for future growth.
|
 |
| STYLE 2
Mounting with Rivets
Most common way to attach to stake
requires the use of a blind rivet tool and 1/8" diameter aluminum rivets, available
at most hardware stores. Place rivet into mounting hole from the front of plant tag
and matching hole in stake with mandrel (shank) pointing up. Insert mandrel into
rivet tool. Break off mandrel by squeezing handles.

 |
| STYLE 3
Mounting with Hidden Screw Mount
No unsightly screws or rivets with this
assembly. Two anodized aluminum plates are permanently bonded with hidden screws
protruding from the back of the tag. Total thickness over 1/16" for resistance
to bending. Easily mounted by inserting hidden screws through matching holes in
stake. Place locknut on screw and tighten with 5/16" wrench. Plates are
just as easily removed for storage, but can only be loosened with a wrench.
